Measat 3 launched

Malaysia's Measat 3 satellite was launched sucessfully from a Russian operated Cosmodrome yesterday at 5.28 Kazhak time. (12 Dec 06).

The RM 1billion satellite carries a payload of 24 C-band and 24 Ku-band, is the biggest satellite launched so far by owners Measat Satellite Systems Sdn Bhd .It has a 15-year orbit mission life .
